Tamdhu distillery, founded in 1897, has a signature style which displays distinctive notes of spice and dried fruit. This 12 year old whisky from the Speyside distillery was matured in refill Oloroso hogsheads. Deliciously savoury with a hint of spice, this bottling features notes of raspberry ripple ice cream, crystallised ginger, rye bread and vanilla.
Tamdhu-Glenlivet Information
Tamdhu Distillery is a Speyside producer of single malt scotch whisky located in Knockando, Banffshire. Tamdhu comes from Gaelic for "little dark hill".
A reliable component of blends over the years, Tamdhu spirit is known to be sweet and fruity spirit with the ability to handle ageing in ex-sherry casks.
