This whisky was re-racked into refill PX casks in 2022 which previously held Springbank whisky, resulting in the light peat note that can be identified on the palate.
Inchgower Information
A famously spicy new make spirit, Inchgower is a Speyside distillery you will find just outside Buckie.
A significant addition to blends, it is also known for a waxy character too.
Nose: Condensed milk, melted stringy toffee, stewed raisins. An old greenhouse. Almond butter. Time in the glass brings out light peat notes.
Flavour: Salted caramel, wine gums, brine, coastal
Finish: Cola syrup, honey roasted cashews
